HOW TO CHANGE DIRECT SPEECH TO INDIRECT SPEECH                   ASSEETIVE SENTENSE when we say sonething to anyone,its called direct speech and when we reported the direct speech to other man indirectly its called indirect speech.             Direct Speech Ram said to me,"i will be late." This above speech called direct speech.here 'said to' is a reporting verb and 'i will be late' is called reported speech.         Indirect Speech Ram told me that he would be late. In the above example, its called indirect speech. here 'told' is a reporting changing verb of 'said to' and 'that' is used for removing the commas (,) and inverted commas ("..").
